Evren completed his bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design in 2013 and obtained his master’s degree in 2016 with a thesis entitled “An analysis of mobile operating system interface designs from a visual communication perspective”. In 2022, he completed his PhD in Media and Communication Studies with a thesis entitled “An Economic-Political Approach to the Present and Future of Digital Labour as a New Social Phenomenon”. Evren has been continuing his academic duties at the Faculty of Communication at Near East University since 2016; he teaches undergraduate-level courses such as Portfolio Design, Digital Game Design, Photo-Graphics, Campaign Design, Video Graphics and Design, Technology and Society, and User Interface Design. Throughout his academic career, he has conducted research focusing on visual communication design, digitalisation, and the impact of new-generation technologies on social transformation. His scientific approach is shaped by an interdisciplinary perspective aimed at understanding the social impacts of technology.
