Lecturer Ufuk ALTUNÇ

Ufuk Altunç was born in Famagusta in 1979, as the second child of a family with two children.

She completed her secondary education at Gazi Famagusta Namık Kemal High School. In addition to her success in secondary education, she also participated in various social activities. She brought first prize to his school in the theater play she played. Together with her two friends, she published one of the first youth magazines in the region, which was appreciated in the media with the title "Alkışlanacak Cesaret".

During her undergraduate education at the Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, she worked as a live broadcast producer and assistant director at Kanal D and Show TV.

After completing her undergraduate education as an honor student, she complated her master's degree from Marmara University, Department of Communication, Public Relations and Publicity, again as an honor student.

She was working as a public relations manager in a private company until she started working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Communication.

Altunç, who joined the Near East family in 2005, teaches practical as well as theoretical courses in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising.

She has taken part in many national and international conferences, congresses and exhibition organization committees since 2005. She provided advisor for many special events and social responsibility projects. She still continues her academic studies in the PhD program of the Media and Communication Studies.
